PROCUREMENT & TECHNICAL HELP

Frequently Asked Questions

Get clear answers regarding our commercial quotation process, site survey bookings, material test certificates, and mobilization schedules.

How do we request a physical site visit at our factory in Pakistan?

You can book a site survey by submitting your plant details through our online RFQ portal, emailing info@kashifengineering.com, or calling our engineering desk. Our site engineers coordinate a visit to survey existing foundations, take measurements, and verify electrical/piping tie-in points across Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, or any other industrial hub.

What technical details are needed to receive an itemized quotation?

To provide an itemized commercial proposal, we typically need your 2D/3D CAD drawings (DWG/PDF), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), required material grades (e.g. Mild Steel ASTM A36 or Stainless Steel SS 304/316L), operating parameters (temperature/pressure), and the site location.

How quickly can Kashif Engineering deploy shutdown or breakdown crews?

For scheduled annual factory turnarounds, we plan 1-3 weeks in advance. For emergency breakdown repairs, steam line bursts, or critical machinery failures, our mobile field teams can mobilize within 24 to 48 hours across major industrial zones in Punjab and Sindh.

Do you provide material test certificates (MTC) with fabricated equipment?

Yes. All prime steel plates, seamless pipes, and stainless steel sheets procured for your project are supplied with Mill Test Certificates (MTC), dimensional inspection logs, and hydrostatic pressure test reports.

What are the standard commercial payment terms for contracting projects?

Our standard contracting model is structured on progressive milestone billing: an advance mobilization payment upon contract signing, progressive payments linked to verified shop fabrication or site delivery milestones, and a final retention release upon successful commissioning and joint client handover.

Can large storage tanks and heavy structural frames be fabricated directly on-site?

Yes. When equipment exceeds road transport dimensions or cannot fit through existing factory doorways, we roll the plates and pre-fabricate modular spools in our workshop and complete final erection, welding, and testing on-site inside your facility.
