Commercial Terms & Conditions
Standard Contracting Guidelines • Kashif Engineering (Kashif Industrial Solutions)
1. Quotation Validity & Pricing
All commercial quotations, itemized Bill of Quantities (BOQ) estimates, and project proposals issued by Kashif Engineering remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance unless explicitly stated otherwise. Because steel, pipe, and raw material prices are subject to market fluctuations, quotations accepted after 30 days may require raw material cost re-validation.
2. Scope of Work & Variations
Contractual obligations are strictly limited to the agreed written scope of work, technical specifications, and approved shop drawings. Any changes requested during execution (such as altered pipe runs, increased steel thickness, additional nozzles, or unlisted equipment shifts) will be documented as a formal Scope Variation with associated cost and timeline adjustments agreed upon before execution.
3. Plant Site Readiness & Access
The client is responsible for ensuring clear, safe physical access to the project site, civil foundation readiness, utility availability (water, electricity, compressed air where agreed), and necessary factory work permits / safety inductions prior to crew mobilization. Delays resulting from site unreadiness will adjust mobilization schedules accordingly.
4. Milestone Payments & Handover
Payments are due in accordance with the milestone payment schedule specified in the formal purchase order or commercial contract. Final retention payments are due upon joint inspection, completion of pressure/alignment tests, and formal handover sign-off.
5. Workmanship Warranty
Kashif Engineering warrants that all fabrication, welding, mechanical erection, and piping installations are executed with professional craftsmanship in accordance with accepted engineering standards. Workmanship defects verified within the agreed warranty period will be rectified promptly by our field maintenance team.
